The Atlantic Ocean, the second-largest of the world’s ocean, is an invaluable resource shared by all Atlantic nations.
To best unlock its secrets and sustainably manage the Atlantic Ocean as a whole, further research and innovation is needed to address the still considerable gaps in our knowledge and understanding of its processes.
To achieve this, cooperation is key; for no single nation can address these grand challenges alone.
That is the vision of the All Atlantic Ocean Initiative! To bring together and systematically connect the people we need for the future we want and, to build an All Atlantic Ocean Research Community.
